Move-in day at college.

My room is so much smaller than everyone else's in the hall, which sucks... It'll improve once my loft arrives for my bed, but until then it's going to be tough. And, I'll be nervous because I was *expecting* to get my loft today while my Dad could still help me with it. Now I'll have to set it up myself... or, more realistically, enlist some help in getting it set up. Not to mention basically unpacking and then repacking my whole room to adjust. *sigh*
But I'm having a good time. Fun kids, fun place. My roommate is absolutely freaking adorable; her name's Liyan, and she's from China (!!!). Really sweet, kind of quiet, but cheerful and friendly. She's got a Dictionary of American Idioms from 1995, which I found hilarious to read. XD I'm really, really glad to be here. Just SO STINKING TIRED I'm falling asleep as I type -- not helped by the heat and humidity here, of which I am not used to. But that'll go away, soon. Weather in Grinnell is pretty chilly most of the time.
