Okay, I'm 14,000 words behind on my NaNovel, I have a Speech Tournament tomorrow where I'm entered in two events, NEITHER of them suitable to perform as they are both missing their intros and are too short, and to top it all off, my throat hurts like a mofo. Which, besides being bad for the Speech Tournament, is also bad because my church choir is doing Music and Worship this Sunday. That means, you guessed it, all of our labor pays off in one big two-hour performance.

This can't be happening to me. It just can't.

EDITED TO ADD: Oh, AND the play's opening night is next Friday, with a performance for the school's Fine Arts class this coming Monday. In short, if I lose my voice, I'm completely, totally screwed.

Yes, as the cute icon says, tea with lots of honey, dang it. And those hard caramels, suck on them. And steam up the bathroom a little, I believe humidity is good for the voice... What percent, got me, but... May I also reccomend carrying around a notepad, so as not to strain your voice too much...

I hope you feel better... all that really, really sucks. o.O

*hugs you like woah*

Sweetie, It's going to be okay. Promise. I'm sure you're going to kick ass at the tournament this saturday (er, today), because you went to state last year with your poetry, remember? You ROCK.

I'm behind- WAY BEHIND- on my NaNo too. So is almost everyone else that I know. It's okay that you're stressed- who isn't? But don't let it become your whole life, because if you do, you'll explode. And that would be awful.

I will be there cheering you on next friday. You know I will. You're going to be fine, I heart you like mad, and it's going to be okay.

*pokes your shoe*
