k_puffOkay. So. I got the part of Mrs. Pearce in MFL, which is AMAZING. I mean, I didn't even get in the chorus last year, so to get the supporting female lead in a school with such competition is just immensely flattering! ^_^ I guess I made a good impression...I'm so excited! It's going to be an amazing show, I can't wait.
I was in such a whirlwind at the time, I didn't get a good look at the cast list, so I'm not entirely sure how many of my friends are in it! I'm going to have to check on Monday so I don't accidentally congratulate the wrong people...that would be embarrassing.
Today was also the day for our District Solo Competition, which was fun. Everyone was building it up to be this huge pressure thing, but I didn't really think it was that big of a deal. I think that's just because I'm involved in so many high-pressure events that I've just become used to it. ^_^;; That's a good thing...I guess. I did pretty well, though! I sung "Oiseaux si tous les ans" my Mozart, and it was a fun piece and I did really well. At least, the other people in the room watching me seemed reasonably impressed. ^^
I should probably care more about the results of that, but I can't. I'm just...so...tired...I'm probably going to bed as soon as I post this. Wins the award for earliest bedtime EVER. zzzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz.... ~^_^~
