Kool-Aid

Well, that was a bust. I cut off a four-inch-or-so piece of my hair, left it in a bowl of highly concentrated Kool-Aid for about ten minutes (and I stress highly...I tried a little bit, and it was NASTAY), blowdried it, and the verdict?

Nada. Just a cherry scented version of my hair. T_T *sigh* But I don't think I'll try anything else. I have a hair appointment just two or three days before the Con, and it always takes a while for the dye to wear off a bit. It'll be plenty red.

Now I just need to worry about the rest of my outfit. It's pretty simple, if I hang around Goodwill enough for awhile. ^_^;; I already have black sweatpants and shoes that'll work, and I've got the hair all figured out, and I've got my little P-Chan replica that I painted. So, all I need is the shirt. ^_^;; I hope I'll end up with something that looks good. That's the problem with Goodwill. Sometimes you find stuff that's perfect. Sometimes you need to mess around with it a little. But for either of those things to happen, I'll need someone that'll be okay with driving me down there every now and then. *le sigh*

If you want non-permanent red (and I mean literally red), you could try this. I had a nasty incident involving their brown/black (it turned my hair purple) but it only washed out in three shampoos, smells nice, is cheap, and is available in grocery stores.
