update: my random medical condition
Nov. 10th, 2008 05:05 pmVisited the doctor's office today for the third time in a month, five if you include phone consultations. The nurses know me there now. -_-;;
Pros:
They're taking me off medication! I can drink again!
Cons:
It's because the antibiotics aren't doing anything at this point except possibly increasing the risk of heart damage. Oops.
Pros:
They don't think there's anything seriously wrong with me!
Cons:
Except that I need to have my tonsils removed over Christmas break because they're just sitting in my throat, filled with bacteria. Lucky me, sitting here with no insurance. GRAAAAH
Pros:
I don't have to do anything about it for another month!
Cons:
Except take ibuprofen for the pain in my throat and neck that I'll just have to live with for another month.
GROAN. But at least they don't think there's anything seriously wrong...? I can't believe it; I've been healthy as a horse my entire life, and two months into college they're telling me I need surgery. A;LKJDF;ASGA;LKJDJHGA;L DUDE ALL I WANT IS FOR MY THROAT TO STOP HURTING. FUCK.
